Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a high-powered mono-black aristocrats-combo deck built around Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER and its transformation into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The primary game plan is to assemble an infinite sacrifice loop - typically Gravecrawler + a free sacrifice outlet (Phyrexian Altar or Ashnod's Altar) + a drain payoff (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Bastion of Remembrance) - to drain the entire table. The deck accelerates with a dense ritual package (Dark Ritual, Cabal Ritual, Culling the Weak) and powerful tutors (Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor) to find combo pieces consistently. Secondary wins include a massive Torment of Hailfire fueled by Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, or a devotion drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The commander's front side provides card draw and a life-drain trigger, while its back side offers an emblem that doubles the drain and an attack-trigger draw engine. The deck is fast, resilient, and capable of winning through disruption.
