Deck overview

This is a Grixis wheels-and-punishment deck helmed by Nekusar, the Mindrazer, built around a simple but brutally effective axis: force opponents to draw extra cards, then punish them for every card drawn. The deck deploys symmetrical draw engines like Kami of the Crescent Moon and Dictate of Kruphix, then layers on damage amplifiers such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Underworld Dreams, and Orcish Bowmasters. Wheels - Windfall, Whispering Madness, Magus of the Wheel - refill hands while triggering every punishment piece simultaneously, turning each wheel into a massive life-swing. Secondary win conditions include The Locust God generating an overwhelming flier army, Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind providing repeatable reach, and the offbeat Triskaidekaphile alternate victory. The deck plays control-tempo, using its interaction suite to protect its engines while accumulating damage across the table.
