Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck is commanded by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, focusing on converting lifegain triggers into large quantities of +1/+1 counters distributed across the battlefield. The strategy deploys low-cost soul sisters such as Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, and Essence Warden alongside passive triggers like Authority of the Consuls to guarantee consistent lifegain. Once Lathiel enters on Turn 4, every lifegain instance builds permanent board power at each end step. Payoffs like Abzan Falconer, Blossoming Bogbeast, and Overwhelming Stampede convert these tall boards into lethal combat swings, closing games around Turn 8. The deck features strong redundancy in its lifegain core and resilient tall beaters, but it suffers from high tap-land friction, sparse instant-speed removal, and vulnerability to mass creature sweepers.
