Golgari Rari by DRowntree

Format: Commander

Commander: Rendmaw, Creaking Nest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rendmaw, Creaking Nest is this deck's entire engine. The list is built to play cards with two or more card types, so artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, artifact lands, enchantment lands, Kindred, and artifacts that are also enchantments each add another goaded Bird to every player. The first plan is to generate a large Bird swarm and close with Overrun or Echoing Courage. The second path is drain and recursion through Baba Lysaga, Poison-Tip Archer, Osseous Sticktwister, and Whip of Erebos. There is no hidden commander; The Swarmweaver is an important support engine, not an independent build-around.
