Redshift V4

Format: Commander

Commander: Redshift, Rocketeer Chief

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul combo deck built around Redshift, Rocketeer Chief. You cast Redshift early, grow its power, then tap it for large amounts of mana to fuel activated abilities. The main plan is to create infinite mana with untap effects and then win with infinite combats or direct damage. Aggravated Assault gives infinite extra combats when you have infinite mana, and Walking Ballista closes the game once mana is infinite. The deck also wins through combat with a huge commander - Belt of Giant Strength, Hardened Scales, Innkeeper's Talent, and Bristly Bill, Spine Sower quickly make Redshift a 10/10 or larger. Redshift is important as a mana engine, but the deck can also assemble wins without it, so it plays as a focused combo-midrange deck that sets up and then takes the whole table in one turn.
