Deck overview

This is a Mardu "cast-from-exile" value deck helmed by Fire Lord Zuko. The game plan is to stock the battlefield with firebending attackers and exile-impulse engines, use attack-triggered red mana and reduced costs to keep casting spells and permanents from exile, and convert each exile cast into pumped creatures, tokens, and table-wide damage. The primary wins are wide combat fueled by Sozin's Comet and Heroic Charge, incremental pings from Kessig Flamebreather and Black Waltz No. 3, and Chandra planeswalker ultimates amplified by Chandra's Regulator. Commander Liara Portyr and Zuko, Exiled Prince act as backup exile engines if the commander is answered. This is a midrange value deck rather than a combo deck, winning by grinding out card flow and overwhelming the table with firebending mana and repeatable payoff triggers.
