Deck overview

This Golgari Spider-tribal deck is helmed by Shelob, Child of Ungoliant, aiming to control the board through deathtouch-spider combat, fight spells, and token generation. The primary game plan involves deploying a swarm of reach spiders, turning them into deathtouch threats via Shelob, and using forced-block effects (Nemesis Mask, Lure) to convert each blocker into a Food token copy. Secondary win conditions include Ishkanah, Grafwidow's repeatable life-drain, Lolth, Spider Queen's emblem, and Profane Command for direct damage. The deck relies on incremental value from Food tokens (life gain, mana, card draw via Greta, Sweettooth Scourge) and recursion through Eternal Witness, Back for More, and Profane Command. No infinite combos are present; victory comes through sustained combat advantage and attrition.
