Fire Lord Azula by HawthornVine

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula leads an aggressive Grixis spellslinger strategy centered on combat-phase spell duplication and explosive burn. When Azula attacks, she generates two red mana and copies every spell cast during combat, supercharging rituals, cantrips, and targeted removal. The primary win condition revolves around untapping with Azula and magecraft payoffs like Storm-Kiln Artist or Guttersnipe, chaining combat-speed instants to incinerate the table or looping Narset's Reversal with Return the Favor. Secondary lines utilize Mizzix's Mastery or Bolas's Citadel to storm through the library, while Insurrection provides an immediate lethal alpha strike against crowded boards.
