Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Liesa, Shroud of Dusk leads an aggressive Orzhov drain strategy that weaponizes life totals into a lethal asymmetry. Liesa taxes every spell cast across the table for two life while evading traditional commander tax through life payments. Early plays deploy incremental lifegain engines like Soul Warden and passive punishers like Kambal, Consul of Allocation and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse. As opponents wither under constant spell tax, the deck pivots into explosive finishers. Primary win conditions include assembling Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose with Beacon of Immortality, charging Aetherflux Reservoir for lethal blasts, doubling loss with Bloodletter of Aclazotz, or draining the table with massive Debt to the Deathless casts.
