Kaalia Mk. I by user7261763

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast leads a Mardu battlecruiser that cheats Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play during combat. The primary plan is to protect Kaalia, attack, and put a huge flyer onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Backup lines include hardcasting/reanimating the same threats and assembling Liliana's Contract with four different Demons. The deck's fastest deterministic kill pairs Master of Cruelties with Kaalia to drop one opponent to 1 life on the spot, then beats the table down with extra-combat and token effects. It is a classic proactive commander deck: dense in high-impact flyers and protection, but light on stack interaction and noncreature answers.
