Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a support piece in this BUG Elf-ball combo deck rather than the main engine: its legendary-Elf draw trigger and graveyard activated-ability access give extra digging and utility, but the deck can win without casting it. The primary plan is fast ramp through one-mana Elves and cheap rocks, then assemble one of several compact combos (Witherbloom Apprentice plus Chain of Smog, Kinnan plus Basalt Monolith, or Staff of Domination plus a high-output Elf), then finish with Walking Ballista or Finale of Devastation. An Elf beatdown backup via Elvish Archdruid and Ezuri exists. No double-faced or hidden commander appears.
