Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger strategy led by Vivi Ornitier, turning cheap noncreature spells into rapid mana acceleration and widespread burn damage. Vivi triggers whenever you cast a noncreature spell, growing with +1/+1 counters and pinging every opponent for one damage. Its zero-mana ability then converts that power directly into blue and red mana once each turn, powering explosive storm turns. The deck uses low-cost cantrips, power-doubling pump spells, and card-draw auras like Curiosity to draw through the library and fuel massive mana pools. Win conditions include scaling finishers like Crackle with Power and Jaya's Immolating Inferno, swarming flying tokens with Talrand, Sky Summoner and Ovika, Enigma Goliath, commander combat damage with trample, or the compact infinite combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity. While vulnerable to targeted removal before counters accumulate, cheap hexproof spells and countermagic provide critical plan shielding.
