Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Spellslinger Burn strategy led by Thor, God of Thunder. The primary game plan focuses on rapid early-game acceleration via artifacts and rituals, casting Thor on Turn 4 to establish an oppressive noncreature spell damage engine. Thor's static ability weaponizes high-mana-value spells—particularly cost-reduced sweepers like Blasphemous Act, cascade spells like Call Forth the Tempest, and free spells like Pyrokinesis—to burn opposing life totals and wipe creatures simultaneously. Damage output scales dramatically with Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor and Artist's Talent, allowing individual spells to deal double-digit damage directly to any target. Card flow is sustained through wheels, impulse engines, and The One Ring. As a secondary win condition, the deck features the compact infinite combo of Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame to generate infinite hasty creatures. While vulnerable to repeated commander removal and lacking universal stack countermagic, the deck delivers overwhelming burst damage and fast board control.
