Deck overview

This Dimir Zombie Aristocrats deck focuses on generating incremental card advantage and board presence through Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver before executing an instant-speed infinite drain combo. The primary game plan uses low-cost Zombie synergies, efficient tutors, and robust sacrifice engines such as Phyrexian Altar and Gravecrawler. When assembled with a drain payoff like Diregraf Captain or Plague Belcher, the deck drains all opponents simultaneously in a single turn. Defensively, the list features premium free countermagic and targeted removal to protect its combo pieces and disrupt early opposing threats. In grindier matchups, Grave Pact and Noxious Ghoul lock down creature boards while Skullclamp and Undead Augur refill the hand. The deck possesses multiple redundant combo lines that operate independently of the commander, ensuring high resilience against single-target interaction and board wipes.
