Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Vampire tribal and aristocrats strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability to generate 1/1 Vampire creature tokens whenever any Vampire spell is cast, creating a wide battlefield presence without requiring extra mana. In the early turns, the deck deploys low-cost Vampires like Falkenrath Gorger, Bartolomé del Presidio, and Welcoming Vampire to build board state and maintain steady card draw. By Turn 4, a functional army of nontoken and token Vampires is ready to attack. The deck reaches critical threat onset on Turn 6 by casting Edgar Markov, granting immediate haste and adding +1/+1 counters to all attacking Vampires, or by resolving burst drain effects like Malakir Bloodwitch. It finishes opponents over two combat cycles by Turn 8. While the deck boasts high creature redundancy and an alternate infinite combo in Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, it has zero instant-speed interaction and minimal protection against board wipes.
