Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon, built around the commander's eminence cost reduction and its attack-trigger card advantage. The plan is to stack cost reducers (Urza's Incubator, Herald's Horn, Dragonspeaker Shaman, Dragonlord's Servant, Morophon, the Boundless), deploy Dragons at massive discounts, then use The Ur-Dragon's attack trigger to draw cards and cheat permanents into play. The primary fast win is the Hellkite Charger + Savage Ventmaw/Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient infinite combat loop; the fallback is overwhelming combat damage amplified by Twinflame Tyrant, Neriv, Heart of the Storm, and Atarka, World Render, with Scourge of Valkas and Terror of the Peaks providing reach. Call the Spirit Dragons offers an alternate win condition. This is a classic battlecruiser - explosive but slow to start and light on interaction.
