Deck overview

This deck is a proactive Rakdos aggro and combat-drain strategy commanded by Mishra, Claimed by Gix. The primary game plan revolves around deploying dense, low-mana token generators on early turns to build a wide creature presence, then casting Mishra to drain all opponents simultaneously on attack declaration. Because Mishra's trigger causes direct life loss and life gain before blockers are assigned, the deck applies severe pressure to the entire table regardless of defending boards. High-impact amplifiers like Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Combat Celebrant, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum double these attack triggers, while Impact Tremors and Marionette Apprentice provide non-combat burn. The deck also features a powerful alternate angle by tutoring and unearthing Phyrexian Dragon Engine to meld into Mishra, Lost to Phyrexia. While susceptible to mass creature sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck presents a fast, resilient clock that consistently closes games around Turn 7.
