Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mono-Green aggro deck built around Ruxa, Patient Professor and the vanilla creature mechanic. It curates a unique roster of non-ability creatures such as Leatherback Baloth, Nessian Courser, Balduvian Bears, and Craw Wurm. By deploying efficient vanilla bodies in the early turns and casting Ruxa on turn 4, the deck turns plain stat monsters into lethal attackers that assign combat damage as though they were unblocked. Supporting enchantments like Garruk's Uprising, Feed the Pack, and Ayula's Influence supplement the creature swarm, while cards like Overrun push massive combat damage. While the deck boasts strong thematic cohesion and straightforward combat pressure, its plan relies heavily on Ruxa remaining in play and features almost no reactive disruption to interact with fast combo strategies or noncreature permanents.
