MAHA by erich_triple_six

Format: Commander

Commander: Maha, Its Feathers Night

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maha, Its Feathers Night is the centerpiece of a mono-black attrition deck. Her static ability sets every opponent creature's base toughness to 1, so the deck's many -1/-1 effects and wither creatures become one-sided board wipes. The primary plan is to ramp into Maha, protect her with hexproof equipment, and wipe the board repeatedly while Blood Artist, Falkenrath Noble, The Meathook Massacre, and Massacre Wurm convert deaths into life loss. Secondary paths include stealing opponent creatures with Gisa, Glorious Resurrector and Shelob, Dread Weaver, and using Pestilence as a repeatable mana sink. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth acts as a powerful secondary engine, but there is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Maha's toughness-reduction ability.
