Deck overview

This Abzan Food tokens deck is a synergistic life-gain and combo engine helmed by the partner pair Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant. The core plan leverages Sam's combat-step Food creation to fuel both incremental value and the deck's primary infinite combos. Scurry Oak plus Rosie Cotton of South Lane generates infinite tokens when a token is created (Sam's Food suffices), and those tokens can be sacrificed for infinite life via Food's own ability, then drained through Sanguine Bond or Dina, Soul Steeper. Secondary lines include Devoted Druid + Vizier of Remedies for infinite green mana, though the deck relies more heavily on the token loop. The commanders are not strictly necessary for the combo but provide efficient early-game token generation and minor card flow, making the strategy consistent without being commander-dependent.
