Deck overview

This mono-blue storm deck leverages Fblthp, Lost on the Range to transform the top of the library into an exile-based staging area using the plot mechanic. Packed with dense 2-CMC ramp and over fifteen 0-CMC artifacts, the deck aims to filter through lands and plot numerous spells for free. Resolving Mana Severance strips all basic lands from the deck, turning every subsequent top card into a plottable spell. Once a critical mass of spells is plotted, the deck untaps and casts them all simultaneously on Turn 6 for zero mana. This massive storm count fuels lethal life gain and direct damage from Aetherflux Reservoir, generates an overwhelming army through Geralf, the Fleshwright and Sai, Master Thopterist, or draws out the library with Hullbreaker Horror loops into Laboratory Maniac. While exceptionally explosive in its engine velocity, the deck intentionally foregoes traditional counterspells and stax pieces, leaving it vulnerable to fast opposing combo interaction.
