Deck overview

The Cabbage Merchant commands a mono-green Food combo and artifact synergy deck designed to turn incidental token generation into explosive mana velocity and decisive infinite loops. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient mana dorks into an early commander deployment, converting opponent noncreature spells into a steady stockpile of Food tokens that double as colored mana fixing. Its primary victory route leverages Peregrin Took alongside Nuka-Cola Vending Machine: sacrificing three Foods draws a card and triggers three separate Treasure creations, which Peregrin Took replaces to yield three new Foods and three Treasures, cleanly drawing the entire library and generating infinite mana through the commander. The deck seals the game on the same turn using Walking Ballista or a lethal Finale of Devastation. Exceptional plan shielding like Veil of Summer, Heroic Intervention, and Sylvan Safekeeper defends the combo from disruption, while secondary routes like Academy Manufactor and Displaced Dinosaurs provide formidable resilience.
