Format: Commander

Commander: Thromok the Insatiable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thromok is a one-shot devour finisher. The deck's primary plan is to amass token armies from Awakening Zone, Kher Keep, and the Krenkos, then cast Thromok devouring them for enormous power and kill all opponents with Chandra's Ignition or a trampling/unblockable commander swing. Secondary paths: go-wide token beatdown through Krenko/Mycoloth/Scute Swarm and big-mana draws into Return of the Wildspeaker or Rishkar's Expertise. Krenko, Mob Boss is the hidden commander of the token half, while the card-draw spells and Doubling Season effects bridge the board into Thromok.
