This Mardu deck is helmed by Isshin, Two Heavens as One, built entirely around maximizing attack-trigger value. Every creature that triggers on attacking - Slash, Reptile Rampager, Captain Lannery Storm, Kinscaer Sentry, Excava, the Risen Past, Armored Skyhunter - fires twice, generating tokens, ramp, recursion, and Equipment. A Spirit/graveyard recursion subtheme (Hofri Ghostforge, Quintorius Loremaster, Guardian Scalelord) sits under a wide combat plan, with Aurelia, the Warleader as the finisher: Isshin doubles her extra-combat trigger, producing three combat phases in a single turn.
