New Untitled Deck by CaptainBlasphemy

Format: Commander

Commander: Tergrid, God of Fright // Tergrid's Lantern

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Tergrid, God of Fright is the payoff for a mono-black discard-and-sacrifice attrition plan. The deck intends to strip opponents' hands and boards with cheap symmetrical effects, then use Tergrid's trigger to reanimate discarded or sacrificed nontoken permanents, including lands, into an overwhelming board. The back face Tergrid's Lantern is a secondary pressure tool if the front face is untenable; the deck is clearly built around the front face. Secondary paths are life-halving sorceries (Fraying Omnipotence, Pox Plague) plus incremental drain from Megrim, Bandit's Talent, and Rankle's Prank. There is no hidden commander, tutor package, or infinite combo; victory comes from grinding opponents out and closing with stolen beats and life loss.
