Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Aristocrats combo strategy piloted by Celes, Rune Knight. Celes turns the persist mechanic into an engine: whenever a creature enters from the graveyard, Celes places a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control, perfectly canceling the persist creature's -1/-1 counter via state-based actions. Combined with any free sacrifice outlet, this creates an infinite loop. Outlets like Goblin Bombardment or Blasting Station convert these cycles into instant table lethality, while Altar of Dementia mills opponents out completely. Rather than relying on tutors, the list maximizes consistency through high functional density, running 9 persist creatures and 8 free sacrifice outlets alongside an efficient 2-mana rock suite. Robust defensive tools such as Silence, Dawn's Truce, and Everybody Lives! shield the combo turn. While the deck lacks artifact and enchantment removal, its focused game plan delivers a reliable Turn 5 instant-speed win.
