Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic landfall strategy centered on Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The early game focuses on deploying land ramp spells and mana dorks to reach six mana ahead of schedule. On Turn 5, casting Aesi immediately triggers additional land plays and card draws, fueling a self-sustaining resource engine. On Turn 6, the deck converts this massive mana surplus into a game-winning board by combining multiple land triggers with token generators like Scute Swarm, Titania, Protector of Argoth, and Eusocial Engineering. Opponents face a decisive attack on Turn 7, often backed by an overloaded Cyclonic Rift or stat boosts from Return of the Wildspeaker to bypass defenses. While vulnerable to timely board wipes before its creatures can attack, the deck maintains high resilience through redundant draw engines and rapid recovery mana.
