Format: Commander

Commander: Gyruda, Doom of Depths

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gyruda is the engine, not a sideboard companion: the deck is built to cast it, then use even-mana-value clone effects (Phantasmal Image, Sakashima, Spark Double) to make the ETB recur. The primary win chains Gyruda triggers, milling libraries and using Dreadhound/Syr Konrad to convert milled creatures into drain. Secondary paths are the Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank loop (with Bloodchief Ascension as a third payoff) and reanimating haymakers like Archon, Wrexial, and Kozilek. No hidden commander exists; Sakashima of a Thousand Faces is the strongest enabler for the chain. The deck is heavily graveyard-dependent, with tutors and recursion to reassemble after disruption.
