Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma to accelerate huge creatures onto the battlefield ahead of curve. Early turns focus on establishing mana ramp via dorks, enchantments, and rocks, paving the way for a Turn 3 Goreclaw. By reducing the casting cost of creatures with power 4 or greater by {2}, Goreclaw facilitates explosive turns where colossal threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Hydra Omnivore, and Impervious Greatwurm enter the battlefield early. Goreclaw also grants +1/+1 and trample on attack, ensuring big beaters push past blockers. Card draw engines such as Garruk's Packleader and Return of the Wildspeaker keep hand sizes healthy, while overrun effects like Kamahl, Heart of Krosa close the game out over consecutive combat phases.
