Deck overview

This deck leverages Killian, Decisive Mentor to combine forced combat, pillowfort control, and Voltron beatdown. By casting low-cost Auras on opposing threats, Killian taps down blockers and goads them, forcing opponents to whittle down each other's life totals while drawing you cards each combat. Supporting pieces like Eriette of the Charmed Apple and Ghostly Prison guarantee that opposing attacks cannot turn back toward you. Meanwhile, draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Kor Spiritdancer maintain a full hand of resources. Once opposing life totals are depleted, massive Aura buffs such as All That Glitters, Ethereal Armor, and Eldrazi Conscription convert Killian or an evasive flyer into a lethal combat threat, eliminating the remaining players in rapid succession.
