Deck overview

This Jeskai deck blends Dinosaur tribal synergies with go-wide token generation under Akim, the Soaring Wind. The primary strategy accelerates mana on early turns using two-mana artifacts and creature cost-reducers like Marauding Raptor and Otepec Huntmaster. On turns four and five, the deck deploys Akim alongside token generators such as Bonehoard Dracosaur, Poetic Ingenuity, and Dinosaurs on a Spaceship, generating free 1/1 flying Bird tokens. Type unification cards like Maskwood Nexus and Arcane Adaptation bridge the gap between Dinosaurs and Bird tokens. On turn six, the deck leverages mass damage multipliers like Shared Animosity or Akim's double-strike ability to swing for lethal evasive damage, closing the game around turn eight. An exceptionally lean, one-mana reactive interaction package protects your board and disrupts opponents, while backup Dinosaur beaters ensure resilience if the commander is removed.
