Commander: Namor, Atlantean King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a low-to-mid power Azorius control-tempo list helmed by Namor, Atlantean King. The plan is to resolve Namor early, then cast a dense suite of cheap noncreature spells-counters, Pacifism-style auras, and bounce-to both disrupt the table and flood the board with 1/1 Merfolk tokens. Those tokens, backed by lords and anthems such as Attuma, Atlantean Warlord, Metallic Mimic, and Crusader of Odric, close the game through combat. Secondary value engines (Mister Fantastic, Reed Richards, Valeria Richards, Precocious, Quake, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.) reward the same noncreature casting pattern. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins by attrition and a growing wide board. Namor is efficient at three mana and supplies the primary token engine, but the heavy interaction suite still functions if he is answered.
