Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Voltron and Equipment aggro build commanded by Lightning, Army of One. Its primary game plan uses cheap equipment tutors and cost-cheating permanents like Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, Forge Anew, and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to equip Lightning with massive armaments by turn 4. Lightning's innate first strike, trample, and lifelink ensure high-damage connections, while her Stagger ability doubles all subsequent damage to struck opponents. Backed by Grand Abolisher, Conqueror's Flail, and an instant-speed protection suite tutored by Sunforger, the deck shuts down opposing interaction during critical combat turns. When combat damage needs to scale across the table, Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar and extra combat enablers accelerate the clock, while Sword of Feast and Famine paired with Aggravated Assault provides an infinite combat finish.
