Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats and Proliferate Swarm deck commanded by Minthara, Merciless Soul. The game plan revolves around generating creature tokens, sacrificing permanents to trigger Minthara's revolt ability at every end step, and accumulating experience counters. Proliferate creatures and spells accelerate this counter growth rapidly. Because experience counters reside permanently on the player, Minthara's static ability continuously grants a massive +X/+0 power buff to the entire creature army while scaling her own ward protection. Once the board widens with token generators like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Elenda, the Dusk Rose, the deck attacks with massive power, closing out opponents over two to three attack steps. Aristocrat pieces such as Bastion of Remembrance and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim provide supplementary life drain and reach, while a versatile suite of white-black exile removal and sweepers controls opposing threats.
