Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Midrange Cheat engine commanded by Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists. The game plan utilizes high-mana cycling and landcycling creatures—including Titanoth Rex, Greater Sandwurm, and Angel of the Ruins—to smooth early land drops while filling the graveyard with high-cost cards. On Turn 4, Ellie enters the battlefield, activating on Turn 5 to exile these behemoths and Discover into powerful 6–9 mana value permanents for free. Supporting value engines like Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty, Monstrous Vortex, and Kozilek's Unsealing cascade these free spells into massive boards, while untappers such as Kiora's Follower and Thousand-Year Elixir double activation throughput. The deck closes the game on Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage backed by trample from Surrak and Goreclaw and Garruk's Uprising. The deck maintains strong independence through natural ramp lines even if the commander is removed.
