Deck overview

This Grixis deck is helmed by Edward Kenway, focusing on aggressive Pirate and Vehicle combat synergies converted into massive Treasure generation and card advantage. Early turns focus on deploying efficient low-curve Pirates and utility Vehicles to establish board presence and fix mana. Once Edward lands on Turn 4, every tapped Pirate, Assassin, and Vehicle generates end-step Treasures, accelerating mana and enabling theft-based card draw from Vehicle combat connections. The deck converts its hoarded Treasures and wide creature board into a lethal combat win via explosive finishers like Cyberdrive Awakener, Shared Animosity, or Raise the Palisade. Defensively, the list is fortified by an elite suite of free and 1-mana interaction, including Deflecting Swat, Deadly Rollick, and Force of Negation. While reliant on combat steps and vulnerable to artifact sweepers, the deck delivers resilient tempo and high synergy.
