Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on Phyrexian tribal synergies, token generation, and the transformative power of its commander, Elesh Norn. The early game focuses on developing low-cost Phyrexians, toxic attackers, and incubator engines such as Skrelv's Hive, Crawling Chorus, and Norn's Inquisitor. Once three creatures are on the battlefield, casting and flipping Elesh Norn into The Argent Etchings generates an immediate army of five Phyrexian tokens. The Saga then pumps the entire team with double strike on Chapter II before resolving an asymmetric board wipe on Chapter III that spares Phyrexians, artifacts, and lands. Supporting elements include tax and pillowfort effects like Norn's Annex, Windborn Muse, and Soulless Jailer to slow opposing strategies, alongside potent board protection like Flare of Fortitude and Akroma's Will to secure combat victories.
