Deck overview

This Golgari deck uses Chatterfang, Squirrel General to turn token production into an overwhelming resource engine, board control tool, and infinite combo platform. The deck leverages explosive fast mana and efficient mana dorks to deploy Chatterfang on Turn 2, followed quickly by token generators or premier tutors. Its primary win condition pairs Chatterfang with Pitiless Plunderer to generate infinite Treasure tokens and death triggers, immediately draining the table with Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, or Mirkwood Bats. Redundant infinite lines such as Earthcraft with Squirrel Nest and Ivy Lane Denizen with Scurry Oak provide resilience if the commander is removed. While the deck boasts immense speed, consistent tutoring, and repeatable creature removal, it remains vulnerable to instant-speed interaction and sweepers due to a lack of stack protection.
