Deck overview

This deck is a Bird tribal landfall value engine helmed by Choco, Seeker of Paradise. The core strategy is to attack with Birds, triggering Choco's ability to look at the top cards and put any number of lands onto the battlefield tapped, while also drawing a card. This accelerates the landfall triggers that define the deck: Emeria Angel creates Bird tokens, Chocobo Racetrack produces 2/2 Birds, and Sazh's Chocobo grows with counters. Traveling Chocobo and Ancient Greenwarden double landfall triggers and allow playing lands from the graveyard, enabling explosive turns. The primary win condition is combat damage from a wide board of Birds, often empowered by Chocobo Knights granting double strike to creatures with counters, or Summon: Fat Chocobo providing trample. The deck includes a modest interactive suite of counterspells and removal to protect its board and disrupt opponents.
