Deck overview

This mono-green Stompy deck harnesses extreme creature stat efficiency to cheat out Ghalta, Primal Hunger ahead of curve. By deploying undercosted beaters like Pugnacious Hammerskull and Steel Leaf Champion on early turns, the deck rapidly satisfies Ghalta's power-discount cost reduction, casting the 12/12 trampling commander for as little as two green mana as early as Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Ghalta supercharges power-matters card draw engines such as Rishkar's Expertise and Return of the Wildspeaker, drawing up to a dozen fresh cards in a single burst. Mass trample enablers, including Overwhelming Stampede, Garruk's Uprising, and Unnatural Growth, convert this massive board presence into lethal combat swings across multiple opponents. While vulnerable to board wipes and lacking stack interaction, dense mana acceleration, redundant threats, and robust hand replenishment allow the deck to rebuild quickly and threaten consecutive combat eliminations.
