Deck overview

This is an Izzet Giants/Wizards tribal burn deck helmed by Aegar, the Freezing Flame, built around converting excess damage into card advantage. The core loop is straightforward: deploy Giants and Wizards, point burn and combat damage at opposing creatures and planeswalkers, and let Aegar's trigger refill your hand. The deck closes games through a few overlapping channels - anthem-boosted Giant combat (Sunrise Sovereign, Boldwyr Aggressor), free-cast value engines (Surtland Elementalist, Goliath Daydreamer), and Chandra planeswalker ultimates (Chandra, Flame's Fury). It is a midrange value deck with no fast combo lines and no tutors; it wins by grinding out incremental advantage and overwhelming the table with large, trampling bodies and copied spells.
