Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm is a Rakdos Treasures deck that uses the commander's cast trigger as a draw engine and its ETB as a one-shot artifact burst. The primary plan is to flood the board with Treasure, convert that mana into card draw by casting spells with Treasure, and turn every artifact or token that enters or dies into table-wide damage through Reckless Fireweaver, Mayhem Devil, Weftstalker Ardent, and sacrifice payoffs. Devastating Onslaught acting on Goldhound or Weftstalker Ardent is the main finisher; Smaug the Magnificent provides a second, combat-based clock. The deck is a midrange value build with no true infinite combo and moderate reliance on the commander for sustained draw.
