Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Elf tribal and counter-attrition strategy led by High Perfect Morcant. The early game focuses on deploying efficient 1-mana and 2-mana dorks like Llanowar Elves and Priest of Titania to accelerate mana. In the midgame, casting High Perfect Morcant alongside card engines like Beast Whisperer and Leaf-Crowned Visionary turns every entering Elf into creature removal via the blight mechanic. Morcant's ability to proliferate both -1/-1 counters on enemy creatures and +1/+1 counters on friendly Elves steadily drains opposing boards while growing your own army. Asymmetric sacrifice effects from Ruthless Winnower further lock down creature-reliant opponents. The deck closes the game on Turns 5-6 through overwhelming overrun effects, utilizing Ezuri, Renegade Leader, Craterhoof Behemoth, or Finale of Devastation to trample over depleted defenses for lethal combat damage.
