Deck overview

This is a Golgari aristocrats/combo deck helmed by Gorma, the Gullet, a commander that rewards death triggers and provides +1/+1 counters to enable persist loops. The primary game plan is to assemble one of several infinite combos - most notably Chain of Smog + Witherbloom Apprentice for an instant-speed drain kill, or Gravecrawler + Pitiless Plunderer + a sac outlet for infinite treasures, which then feed a drain outlet like Blood Artist. The commander also enables persist loops by cancelling -1/-1 counters with its +1/+1 counter ability, creating a third win path. The deck is packed with tutors (Buried Alive, Dina's Guidance, Eldritch Evolution, Insatiable Avarice, Lively Dirge, Nature's Rhythm, Wishclaw Talisman) to find missing pieces, and it runs heavy recursion to recover from disruption.
