Format: Commander

Commander: Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep pilots a Simic sea-monster battlecruiser with no hidden commander. The primary plan is to ramp hard early, land Kiora on turn 4, then cast high-mana Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents from hand; each cast triggers a deep dig that can cheat out a free spell. Backup cheat effects in Kenessos, Priest of Thassa and Quest for Ula's Temple smooth the curve. The deck wins through the combat step, typically using trample plus Spawning Kraken tokens and Overwhelming Stampede to close out all three opponents once the board is wide.
