Deck overview

This Azorius deck is commanded by Captain America, Living Legend, focusing on turning tap-activated creatures, artifact mana dorks, Vehicles, and Spacecraft into double-value engines. Captain America's pseudo-vigilance ability untaps every creature you control the first time it becomes tapped on your turn, effectively doubling mana production from creatures and supercharging tap-to-draw permanents like Arcanis the Omnipotent and Fallowsage. The primary game plan accelerates into high mana availability and massive card velocity, finding and casting Approach of the Second Sun on Turn 6. With Captain America doubling card draw engines, the deck digs through the required seven cards in a single rotation to recast Approach on Turn 7 for the win. Backup routes include token swarms via Sai, Master Thopterist, heavy Vehicle beatdown with Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought, and Psychosis Crawler life drain. The deck features efficient Azorius spot removal and countermagic to protect its setup while navigating multiplayer pods.
