Descent of the Big Butts (Upgrade) by user2490083

Format: Commander

Commander: Rasaad yn Bashir and Dungeon Delver

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Rasaad yn Bashir + Dungeon Delver is a toughness-matters beatdown deck built around the initiative. Rasaad lets every creature assign combat damage equal to toughness, and attacking with the initiative doubles toughness, turning Charix, Wall of Denial, and Zetalpa into lethal attackers. Dungeon Delver doubles dungeon room triggers, while Hama Pashar is a functional backup in the 99, so venture cards complete dungeons for Sarevok's Tome. The faster secondary plan is voltron: pump Rasaad with Eland Umbra/Robe of Stars, give him double strike via Flaming Fist, and kill each opponent with 21+ commander damage. Evasion from Thassa, Rogue's Passage, and Trailblazer's Boots forces the damage through.
