Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius spellslinger-tempo strategy centered on Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper. By converting cheap cantrips and reactive interaction into permanent +1/+1 counters on lands, the deck rapidly builds massive, evasive land creatures with built-in haste. Mana rocks and cost reducers ensure Noyan Dar enters on Turn 4 with open mana to immediately trigger land animation. On Turn 5, the deck presents a lethal threat by stacking counters on evasive attackers or an animated Inkmoth Nexus for a rapid infect kill. The deck protects its land army with Terra Eternal, Flawless Maneuver, Teferi's Response, and a deep counterspell suite. Asymmetric sweepers like Planar Outburst and Consuming Tide reset opposing creature boards while leaving the pilot's land army intact to close out the table by Turn 7.
