RAMPRAMPRAMPRAMPRAMPRAMP WOOOO I LOVE RAMP 🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳 by WarmMilk87

Format: Commander

Commander: Kodama of the West Tree

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green +1/+1 counter-focused aggro deck, helmed by Kodama of the West Tree. The commander provides two critical functions: it grants trample to all modified creatures (those with counters, auras, or equipment) and triggers a land-ramp effect every time a modified creature connects with a player. The core strategy is to establish a board of creatures that accumulate +1/+1 counters rapidly through cards like Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and Renata, Called to the Hunt, then deploy Kodama to turn every attack into extra land drops, accelerating the mana needed for the finishers. Primary victories come from combat pump spells: Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, Finale of Devastation (at X 10), or from an overwhelming trampling horde enabled by Beastmaster Ascension and the commander's own trample-granting ability. The deck is a classic "go-wide, go-big" build that uses landfall synergies (Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar) to produce an army of tokens that quickly become lethal with counter doublers and mass pump.
