Deck overview

This deck is a Landfall Aggro-Midrange strategy commanded by Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early green ramp spells to cast Obuun ahead of curve on Turn 3 or 4. As additional lands enter the battlefield, Obuun accumulates +1/+1 counters and animates lands into large, trampling Elementals at the beginning of combat. The deck supplements this tall commander-centric pressure with wide token generation from cards like Scute Swarm, Rampaging Baloths, and Felidar Retreat. Counter enhancers such as Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire rapidly inflate creature power. The deck finishes games between Turns 6 and 8 by overwhelming opposing life totals with trample combat damage and overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede. It features solid engine recovery and high redundancy among landfall payoffs, though it remains exposed to board wipes and lacks hard interaction or tutoring.
